Costs & coverage
Many students pay little or nothing out of pocket, depending on their counselling benefits and provincial health coverage. We simplify the process with direct billing and clear guidance before you book.
When your plan supports direct billing, CALM submits the claim after each visit. You pay only any amount not covered by your plan. If direct billing is unavailable, we provide an itemized receipt.
Medically necessary physician visits are covered for eligible BC residents with active MSP. Students without MSP can access private-pay visits and receive itemized receipts for possible reimbursement.
Fees for forms, letters and other accommodation documents are separate from counselling and physician visit fees. We will explain any applicable cost before preparing them.
